"Rose of Life" was inspired not only from the timeless symbolism of the rose as a representation of beauty, love, and the essence of life but also from the deep connection between women and Mother Nature. The rose, in its delicate yet resilient form, embodies the fostering, life-giving qualities that are associated with femininity and the powerful role of women in life creation. Just as women nurture and care for life, the rose flourishes when given attention and love. The feminine colors and whimsical details are a reminder of the delicate balance between fragility and power, growth and impermanence. This painting celebrates the complexity of existence, and also the sacred bond between femininity and the essence of life. I hope this piece triggers reflection and celebrates life’s miracles.
